This topic is always up for discussion with my above average friends ....
It's something that will never go away and I hate saying never. A topic we all
as above average people have to deal with. Dealing with the public can be
a mixture of a lot of feelings like being frustrated, panicky, insecure,
defensive and shy. It sometimes makes people not want to go out in public.
I was that young girl, being afraid to show God’s beauty to people was
hurting me inside. Not going to lie it took a long time to be comfortable in
my own skin and body. It all starts with a mentality of knowing that you are
a unique creation and certainly beautiful.
Nobody can make you feel beautiful it can only start from within. It starts by waking up in the morning looking at your face, putting on some nice clothes, makeup (if you want), fixing your hair and making sure you look your absolute best then the rest follows from there. What I can say to my younger self is that don’t rush to do anything with yourself that God hasn't made for you yet. It takes a while to accept your flaws and things you might not like about yourself.
Ladies you are not alone, don’t be discouraged, we are not perfect and we certainly don’t wake up every day liking what we see in the mirror....its's natural.
It’s an ongoing process of ups and downs of how we portray ourselves. One thing I can say is never compare yourself to another lady or her physical features which are not yours. God has made every woman in this world to be uniquely beautiful, once you believe that 100% you will have that positive energy every day.
With Love,
