In my life my friends are a mixed of beautiful human beings coming from different backgrounds and cultures. I have tall friends that are in to sports and I have tall friends that are not into sports and honestly, they could care less about it either. Society puts a picture on tall ladies that have to be athletic and all into sports, that’s not the case. Tall ladies don’t have to be subjective to playing sports.
To be just tall in this world feels like a sin to others, and it’s messed up because tall ladies should be represented as tall ladies that’s all.
When people ask you if you play basketball or volleyball and you say no it’s like the world ended for them. People always love to put their input in something that is none of their business. Like this “Man if i was that tall i would be dunking on people or i definitely would made it professionally in any sport” which is never the case. Society always paints this picture that if you’re not athletic you’re “wasting” your height. We as #Highviewers should be represented as 1, not basketball players, volleyball players or any type of player just a beautiful, gifted and tall individual. There should be no problem to choose to not take the route of an athletic background. People look down on us tall ladies because we don’t play a sport like we’re subjected to one type of lifestyle which should never be the case. I want my #highviewers to understand that it’s ok to represent yourself to the highest standard without that athletic background. It’s ok to tell people that you don’t play a sport, and it’s ok to explain yourself. When you answer to people that want to talk bad about your life, route to success and where ever you want to go in life make sure what society tells you never sticks to your head. It gets in the way of your journey.
With Love,
My Highview
